RIP - Beautiful one!
Interesting, according to Wiki both sets of his grandparents were from Louisiana. Could not find any more details or anything on remaining family members except he has/had a sister.
Found a link to Huffington Post
but gives a little detail on his Louisiana connections

Nancy Grace coverage is a fricking disaster.
Put her in your death pool, Rex. Pretty please.

Eric Clapton was once asked what's it like being the world's greatest living guitarist. He replied, "I don't know. Ask Prince."

God bless that talented soul. He was an amazing proof of Gods touch of real talent on a few.
RIP Prince

Same. Damn shame CNN has more coverage on his death right now than MTV. Before, MTV news would be all over a musicians death playing all their videos, etc.
Now, just shitty reality shows.

He also "said that" about Trey Anastasio.

New Year's Eve will forever haunt my dreams bc of prince. They literally played that song on loop all night long.

Bustin a sweet nut has never been better illustrated in word,or song, than it was by Prince. "Cream"is a beautifully nasty song.
Really though, if you can go through his greatest hits and not find at least 4 songs that you really like, then I don't like you.

He was an amazing talent. But to compare a popular music icon to Mozart is too much. Way too much.
I'm one who wasn't a huge Prince fan. I recognize his talent, and liked some of his stuff, but today isn't the day the music died for me. And, while I wouldn't necessarily compare him to Mozart, remember that Mozart himself was a pop music icon in his day. Nobody knew then that people would still be listening to his music 250 years later.

To be fair Jesus should be back by now.

When you wonder if you are just like your father, two fold, you don't think of doves crying?
You had no idea about Mozart until someone told you how great he was.
Get on the Prince wagon, it will make it through time. Damnit m, he was great.

Look, I don't worship Prince by any means or anything like that. But there are a lot of people that need to die before his arse. This is just yet another one of those fricked up things.

I was crushed when Stevie Ray Vaughn died and irrationally blamed dooshcanoe Clapton for it ü, because he sent a plane to get SRV to have him sit in at some "Look At Me" concert he was putting on. I still change the channel when his songs come on the radio. Guess I'm not over it yet.
