Honestly, I much prefer being able to instantly type it in a search bar and pull up any video/cover/lyrics etc to any song I want as opposed to sitting and watching a TV and hoping the DEeJay plays the one I want
Instant gratification has probably made us worse off as humans.

Who had a VHS tape in the VCR, ready to go, to record your favorite videos when they came on? Sitting there just waiting for them, and they’re have all the first two or three seconds cut off because it took that long for it to start recording.
Same went with the radio and a blank cassette.

Yes “the box” was awesome. I remember waiting and waiting then you could see the numbers being entered on the bottom of the screen

It seemed so cool back then. I bought several laserdiscs and VHS hifi cassettes with mx videos.
I have some lasers like Olivia Newton John in concert, Dokken, a Swing Out Sister 8" laserdisc. They're fun to watch.

I liked it when "Money for Nothing" was not fricking edited.
I also liked seeing Madonna crawl on that bed in the "Get Into The Groove" video (could not find gif)

I grew up watching mtv in the mid 90s and I loved it. I loved the tv shows o. There like real world, road rules, bevis and butthead, and singled out. Even the mtv music and movies awards were fun to watch. It was fun watching world premieres and so on. Now it’s crap. All it is is jersey shore, ridiculous, and teenage mom crap.

Remember the first days of MTV. It was an incredible cultural shift.
