You want other people to subsidize your inability to control what you put in your mouth?

Amazing so many low information posters feel the need to jump in here and shame anyone who loses weight the "wrong" way.
Nobody is shaming anyone, it's just that every single time the premise of "why" they are fat is just flat out wrong. If you eat in a caloric deficit, you WILL lose weight. This is not my opinion or "low information" in regards to how the human body processes food.
Excess fat is created by the body not processing excess calories. That's literally all it is. People on these drugs would be far better off in the long run if they spend their money on a nutritionist and maybe a therapist. They really need to get down to the nuts and bolts of WHY they overeat in the first place. It's an act of self-harm and an inability to push through uncomfortable feelings.

You sure nothing changed with your insurance? Is it a yearly deductible, etc.?
100% identical as far as I, or anyone I've talked to at BCBS, can tell. I'm on an HSA plan that's supposed to have a $2000 deductible and BCBS tried to leave me with that and hang up the phone. I asked them to check what my out of pocket was last year and if the deductible was met. She clicks around to last year and says "huh, same plan and you only paid $25 a month with no deductible...weird" and that was all she could tell me. I've figured out a way to get it covered now, but it took doing my own digging and lots of hours on the phone. Still no explanation as to what caused the change though.

That should be sufficient to get your body into fat burning mode, depending on your nutrition regimen.
You cannot out train a bad diet.
In order to lose weight, you should go very low carb or even carnivore and that will definitely do it. While losing weight, you must be strict and no cheating however, when you get to your goal since you know how to lose fat when you happen to accumulate some you will have no problem eating normally again as long as normally doesn’t include tons of simple carbohydrates - in other words, eat like an adult not like a teenager.

Trump finished his 2nd term already???
Obamacare was passed by Dems when they had large majorities in both chambers of congress including being filibuster proof in the Senate, signed into law by a Dem, implemented by a Dem, and completely owned by Dems.
Trump can’t sign anything into law to fix it or outright replace it unless the RHINOs in both chambers pass a bill to do so which would also require Dems in the Senate to allow a vote. Unlike when the Dems forced Obamacare onto to us the Republicans in the Senate do not have 60 senate seats to easily override filibusters with just a party vote and require Dems to close debate and allow a vote.
The Republicans also didn’t have 60 senate seats during Trumps first term requiring Dems to allow a vote, and Pelosi ran the house the last 2 years of Trump’s first term.

If you have commercial insurance you can get the first 2 months for $199 each and then it's $349 per month. Get on Zepbound website and get the coupon. Still not cheap but better than $3900

I own a company and we have a self-funded healthcare plan for employees. The cost of name brand medications are absolutely destroying our plan. And every overweight person getting their doctor to diagnose them as "pre-diabetic" and prescribing them a GLP-1 is a major issue. Huge scam. The current model is unsustainable, something has to be done.

People who bitch about price are an odd lot. Just pay it

Metabolic resistance is a real thing and why 2 people the exact same food and print one person will gain weight and another won't.
I love how y'all assume it's just a simple math formula and nothing else.
Calories are calories right? You could eat 1,800 calories of pure sugar or 1,800 calories of protein and your body will react the exact same way.

Sigh. How do you think these drugs work? They quiet "food noise" so people don't overeat.
So if I put your fictitious 2 people on a diet and only feed them 1000 calories of the same food a day, will they both lose weight? I'll give you a hint: Yes, yes they will. You're saying that one of them will gain weight?
There are zero point zero obese people walking around who don't eat/drink more calories than they need.

You have to be joking. Are you saying that eating in a caloric deficit will NOT make you lose weight?

I am on the same plan and have been happy with it. It sounds to me like your pharmacy is making a mistake. They should charge you $2K to fill your prescription and then nothing else for the rest of the year, if our plans are the same.
Be sure that your pharmacy has not dropped out of the BCBS network.

That's what they were proposing, but it's not how the plan worked last year. At least for the diabetes supplies that I get every month. Those were supposed to be deductible-free and I just pay the copay. I think I got it figured out and it's showing the correct rate on the app now. The PBM didn't have the paperwork processed correctly as of yesterday so I'm waiting to hear from them and maybe it'll finally be correct at the pharmacy.
I don't know how someone would navigate this if they weren't tech savvy or smart enough to dig into it. I've been jumping through hoops.
