You know, between this post and your coach Johnny Jones defense post, you’ve evened yourself out to be an above average poster.

Was just in Huntsville this past weekend. Good schools, good healthcare, great economy...new construction everywhere.

Maybe you should move to a different part of AL?

States make exceptions for health risk for the mother and fetus. This is written into every abortion law of every state.

The bill signed by JBE the other day did not provide exceptions for rape or incest so I doubt it provides exceptions for mother's health.

Only God can judge people’s decisions. I’m thinking this will impact the Bible Belt the most. The South is already full of welfare states and this will cripple them more. If women can’t afford to travel to an abortion friendly state, another mouth on the tax payer. Then again, the demo that already is a burden doesn’t get them anyway.

Thank you President Trump. How many lives of innocent children have you saved? Thank you.

Yeah. All this did was confirm the constitution does not provide the right to an abortion. It’s the federal government getting out of the way. It’s reducing it’s power. It’s getting smaller.

Again. You're right. We can't care about every situation, good or bad.

And that's what I mean by "Its just a morality debate".

Its not a debate about caring. Its a debate on the morality of a specific situation.

Kinda like I don't really care if you don't put your cart up at the grocery store, but if you ask me my position on the topic, I'm going to call you a lazy POS for not putting it up

Nu-uh! Don’t you know that the federal government stating that it has no right to decide upon an issue and therefore forcing the states to decide it is a prime example of federal government over reach!?!?!!

But hey, middle class white guy can easily tell someone born in a broken, poverty riddled home that they should just try hard and everything will be fine.

My wife and her son came here 17 years ago from a 3rd world country without much. She has been very successful and was able to give him a great life in one of the most expensive states in the country through her hard work. We met 4 years ago and even still she is very independent and determined.

Her story is the same for many immigrants. Why can they do it but these certain people in AL you speak of can't?

Don't feed me your sympathy BS.

So don’t get pregnant. People act like pregnancy is a virus you somehow catch.

You do realize that rape/molestation can result in a pregnancy...right? The victim doesn't really have a choice whether they get pregnant.

A study published in 1996 estimated that there are more than 32,000 rape-related pregnancies in the US every year.

You know there are all kinds of measures to take short of abortion to not have a child before you are ready?

this is a joke right? “There’s a good city in AL, everyone that’s poor should just move there.” Everyone should just live in Homewood, Mtn Brook and Vestavia. Problem solved.

I guess I just don't have much faith that the government, state or otherwise, is going to be able to effectively enforce some of these abortion laws without violating other constitutional rights. I don't like abortion but how are you going to enforce laws at the cellular level? There is a reason why you draw the line in the sand somewhere that isn't conception.

And all that is up to the residents of the individual states to determine and enforce. Not Washington DC.

You made a blanket statement about Alabama. I proved you were wrong making that statement.

Every state in this country has bad areas and good areas. Such is life, because life isn't fair. Get over it princess.
