Riddle me this lefties….

If a pregnant woman has a miscarriage, she’s a woman who lost a baby, but if a pregnant woman wants to voluntarily kill her baby, it’s called an abortion.

If someone kills a pregnant woman, they’re charged with double homicide, but if a pregnant woman wants to voluntarily kill her baby, it’s called an abortion.

Just tell me what the oh so obvious medical condition is a-hole.

I’m a physician by the way, so you won’t confuse me with medical jargon. Be as specific as you want.

So no, it's not a statewide issue. For someone who shits all over Alabama, why are you living there?
It is a statewide issue. How is it not?

Bham is great. Doesn’t mean the rest of the state doesn’t need help.

This really doesn’t mean much at all. Most of the red states have effectively banned abortion anyway. For instance the state of Mississippi has 1 abortion clinic, and it’s picketed relentlessly.

The number of abortions where the pregnancy occurred due to rape or incest is significantly lower than 1% annually.

This is the ultimate red-herring in this debate. It’s like focusing on samurai sword attacks when discussing combating rising violent crime.

Just because something doesn't happen frequently, doesn't mean we can just ignore it.

How likely is it that your house will burn down? Pretty unlikely, no? Okay, then why do you buy home insurance to protect you in the event it, or something equally rare, were to occur?

I'll throw in the "age of viability" argument. That somehow the decision should be based upon "when the fetus could survive outside the womb."

What difference does this make? How many 3 year olds do you know that are "viable" without the care of another human being?

every single anti abortion law will or does have an emergency contraceptive exception

all of these scenarios y'all keep coming up with are simply fear mongering

People do come out of poverty despite the odds. Most don’t.

But most CAN in this country. Not many living in the US are experiencing any kind of real poverty. Everything is given for free, courtesy of Uncle Sam.

I have worked up close with this population, and there is zero logical reason for the amount of generational "poverty" we have from homegrown Americans. Immigrants figure out how to become successful here quickly.

Abortion rights people often point to religion being the source of anti-abortion sentiment. And that's partially right.

For many of us, though, it's about the right to life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness. There's a liberty/libertarian aspect to this too--your rights are unlimited, right up until they infringe on the rights of someone else (in this case, the unborn).

It's your business if you want to remove your colon. Or your uterus. That's YOUR body.

its the only deviation I have with the Libertarian party

the right to life for the unborn child

it has nothing to do with religion for me
