For sure, very odd. I can't think of another example with all this technology, like 'tracking' ransom notes with computer technology and then having people going on twitter with the we'll pay up. Weird arse whole thing
I asked google AI for other examples and apparently Steve Wynn’s daughter was kidnapped back in the day and he paid up. But obviously that was before technology got to where it is today.

The body would be worth $1M to me. I’d buy it for my mom

This is a very strange story. It sounds like Nancy died to me but Savannah wants to pay for her body to have a proper celebration of life.
Horrible thing for that family. I too believe someone they know did this.

Jeffrey Epstein is alive and directed the kidnapping of Guthrie's 84-year old mother s a frick you for interviewing the victims when he specifically told her not to.
There can be no more high profile warning than kidnapping the host of the Today show's mother.
Nancy Guthrie gets Kidnapped.? and Virginia Giuffre gets suicided. ??Both tied to Epstein saga. What are the numerical odds?
Is this the simulation winking at us?

Don't know how closely you folks have been paying attention to the LEO/FBI activity in this case lately but in the last 48 hours and especially today they have been all over the house of the weird sister Annie and her strange husband. Tonight they are going in and out of their house with equipment and taking photos all over the garage. Why?

The kids know she is deceased...that patently obvious.

Because Epstein alive and got the cops on a wild goose chase.

This is being described as a briefcase, but I think it’s one of those folding tables. What do you think? This is what was brought inside the garage, which investigators had been seen over the last several minutes now taking photos.

Money is the root of all evil and the driving force behind most crimes.
There are exceptions...but
Nancy wasn't involved in a love triangle that went bad.
She wasn't sleeping with a politician or dignitary and threatening to expose their dark side.
She is an 84 year old woman who is practically homebound with limited mobility and multiple heath conditions.
Nobody would want to harm Grandma Guthrie ...unless?
There was money to be made.
What does Nancy have?
A million dollar plus home and it stands to reason other assets meaning a sizeable estate.
Who is inline to inherit her estate?
Only three people.
Savanah, we can assume doesn't need her money.
Can't comment on the son. We don't know much about him.
But on Thursday Fox News did a deep dive into the lives of Annie and her husband. They live close by in a home valued at $750,000 to $850,000 but clearly don't have the income to support that lifestyle.
Annie's online bio states that she enjoys writing poetry, making jewelry and that she is a published author. Fox News investigated and found that the only thing published is a book of poetry and a book on homemade jewelry. She has no earned income.
The husband worked for 15 years as a teacher at the elementary school level but according to Fox he is no longer teaching and is playing bass guitar in a band in order to make ends meet. He has no earned income.
My guess is that Annie has been living close by and helping her mother with her daily needs and her Mommy has been helping with Annie's finances since she isn't as capable as her successful sister... but the help wasn't enough and now they're attempting to accelerate their inheritance.
We've all watched enough true crime dramas to know that the last person to see someone alive isn't always the killer but usually that is the case.
Her body is out there and it isn't hidden. Without a body and proof of death probating an estate takes a long time.
The ransom note was not sent by any kidnapper that has Nancy. No kidnapper would wait 3 days to send a ransom note especially when the victim was in such frail health. Caring for a woman in Nancy's condition is not easy. A real kidnapper would want the situation over ASAP.
The ransom emails were simply sent to throw the authorities off the trail of the killer.

You realize that they might have bought that house 15 years ago for $250k, right?

Totally wrong. 80% of crimes are committed by people under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol. Maybe not always under the influence at that exact moment, but their substance problem is why they commit the crime. And money is not the root of all evil. Greed or the desire for money above all else is.
You are so off base it’s ridiculous. You honestly like you just don’t have any money or you’re just repeating that stupid line about money.

Fox News reported that the last selling price was 650,000.
I'm only reporting what I read on a reputable news source.
There are many possibilities for her disappearance.
I'm just throwing this one out there.
I hope I'm wrong

I’m pretty sure if it was her daughter the authorities would’ve figured that out by now.
I’m actually impressed by whoever did this. I’m impressed that they’ve gotten away for this long.
