Produce in one bag, can goods in another, double bag that stuff which needs be, and frozen foods (and ice cream) in another so they'll immediately go in the soft pack cooler.
It's kind of like old school self-shopping because of not wanting this week's bad cauliflower, unripe tomatoes, or three time dropped bananas. As in this weeks meal plan can immediately change.

I personally love having that option, especially in a store full of people like you who refuse to use it and are standing in line. I just scan my shite and be out the door while you’re still standing around irritated that the cashier isn’t moving fast enough.

There are no self checkouts at the Foof Lion we mostly shop at.

X1000 - checkers used to be competent professional type older women that were pros. Now I am much faster at the self checkout. I will use it even when the checkout line has no wait.

I like watching EBT moms take grocery carts to the self check out only to find out that 90% is not covered by snap and then act confused and not walk off. Just stand there.

If self checkout gave you a discount would you be more inclined to use them. You know like self service gas stations over full service. I prefer the Sam's self scan as I put it into the basket and get the hell out of the store method myself.

I use it all the time, love it. And when the price is rung up wrong I call the attendant, tell them about it, and leave. Mark the fricking prices right
