Well, that's just a big enhanced F you.

I hate tornadoes. Getting hit by more than one will do that to you

I'm guessing we'll be seeing some areas of moderate risk soon

But aren’t 7 day forecasts rather inaccurate and unpredictable?

Not strong upper level low events keyed on a general area with some other synoptic conditions, why don’t you sit this one out and let the smart people post.

Where is this system currently? Eastern New Mexico/west Texas?

Or has it not developed into what I’ll see here in Bossier tomorrow night? Sorry, not really well versed in weather topics as y’all are so I don’t know when these types of weather events typically develop or over what area they typically develop over.

Slightly concerned here in DFW. Yesterday was low 30's. This morning, 60 and that muggy feeling that I know too well is a precursor to a major front coming soon.

It's going to be swinging through southern Colorado and New Mexico this afternoon and into the overnight. It's moving pretty quickly. As it continues east Friday, it'll induce a surface low to form up in roughly eastern Texas and that is what will get the weather going for east Texas and eventually most of the SW for the weekend.

Yea, western Louisiana is likely to go to moderate at some point today.

Starting to toss around the idea of a storm shelter business that covers the "Dixie Ally". We get a few more years of this shite and people with a little money might be willing to let go of some of it.

The future cast last night had it coming through at around 11. That was pushed back from the previous day. The window of possibility is 9pm-3am. It looked like midnight was when it was over everyone. Obviously this will change a bit just know later at night on Friday.

My uncle and aunt had one. My aunt refused to use it. She said she'd take her chances with a tornado over the bugs and snakes.

As long as you're not flying into or out of Tehran International you should be fine.

It's dropping SE from Northern Cali today. As it drops into the SW today and tonight there will be increasing cyclogenesis in the lee of the Rockies with a surface low developing tomorrow in Texas. There will be a cap across the warm sector but if numerous storms can develop in this area then things could escalate quickly. Most will see impacts from a strong line of thunderstorms marching across Texas and Louisiana.
