From what I hear from my parents and friends still living in BR, Sid Edwards has been nothing short of a huge disappointment. I know it will take a while to undo the damage that Broome has done, but has he done one single positive thing since being sworn into office? This is a huge opportunity for Republican leadership in the city/parish, and it looks like he's squandering it. He doesn't need to be going to Detroit. He needs to be looking at other comparable-sized cities in the south, like Birmingham, Mobile, Columbia, etc.
