December of '24 i was new truck shopping. After some research and sticker shock (50k+), I did the right thing and bought an 07 Silverado off an old man with 114k miles for $7500 bucks. Best decision i could have made.

If you decide to go RAM, checkout Mark's Dodge in Lake Charles. They are one of the largest RAM dealerships around and have always been great to deal with.

I want one, but my youngest is about to start college in the fall, and mine might last 4-5 more years if needed. After that, I can buy whatever the hell I want. I totally understand why all of the old dudes drive most of the Corvettes now

work in the business. Do not buy anything new. They all suck!

Buy a 2021 or older Tundra with less than 100k miles.

I have a 2020 Tundra TSS 4x4 with only 31k miles. Just curious what do you think the value is?

Values can vary in different region. If the truck is good condition, has clean carfax, clear windshield, and good tires, it should bring $45-47k. It could be closer to $50k in some areas.

Trade in values will be around $40k.

I love my 2016 but I have the itch for a raptor or Ram RHO. Waiting for my son to start driving so I can give him my truck. He’s 12 so it’ll be a while.

I’m leaving at 5am tomorrow to drive to a dealership that is holding a 2021 tundra for me with 50k miles.

I currently have a 2016 tundra with 220k trouble free miles that I could easily keep for another 3 years. However, I don’t trust this world to make anything other than complete shite for many years to come so I’m getting something now before it’s too late.

2021 or older Toyota tundra

I’ve been shopping for those and one with low miles and a decent trim package will sell for more now than they did new. Toyota really fricked up with their engine overhaul.
