Same here. I WOULD wish it on my worst enemy.

several years back, I had the flu and stayed in bed for a solid week with fever and shaking chills...couldn't even keep enough water down to stay hydrated and didn't eat much more than a piece of toast or a couple of crackers each day...

Food poisoning in Almaty, Kazakhstan. I started hallucinating with 104 degree fever. I even wrote a short goodbye note to my family.

Yes, at the turn. We were coming back to Shreveport from Fayetteville.

Had cellulitis in both legs when I was 10, spent a few days in the ICU and another week in recovery there at the hospital.

Not fun in 1986.

Sixth grade Christmas Eve my Asthma had out and down. My doctor wanted to admit me to the hospital, but my mom (a nurse) begged to not to have to admit me on Christmas Eve and watch over me very closely. Thankfully, I started progressing on Christmas morning. Always been thankful mom is a nurse.

Hope you left a good tip.

$50 and she earned every penny. They probably don't rent that room out anymore just use it for storage or something.

Well, night before last had diarrhea cha-cha-cha all night, and woke up to puking my guts up. But the worst I ever had was ruptured appendix about 5 years ago- In bed for 3 days until my wife forced me to the hospital and I had emergency surgery- it had gotten so bad, they said I would not have lasted another 24hrs.

Longest running was mono in college. I was infected by making out with a fat girl at the Texas Club.

Worst single day was a flu bout. Extreme and violent diarrhea and vomiting. Lost 13 pounds in 24 hours. I looked ripped as motha focker.

Probably when I had mono. I've never felt so terrible in my life. I got out of bed 2 times in 7 days, and only to go throw up.

Went to the ER , they called some specialist in and they put me to sleep, scoped my throat and removed it . I'm on a lot of meds now because I have some type of bacteria in my stomach

Family rented a camp in Little Woods when I was around 12 or 13. This was before they cleaned up Lake Pontchartrain. We were swimming every day in the Lake. Brother and I got sick - I threw up 26 times over a day or two, as well as the runs. Doctor said I had Scarlet Fever. After we were throwing up over the rail into the Lake, and flushing the toilets that emptied straight into the lake, we realized what kind of water we had been swimming in.
Also, every few years I get a stomach virus. I usually throw up 10-12 times, and what's weird is that I always seem to throw up every hour almost to the minute. Every time it's like clockwork. Lasts around 12 hours then gone. Last time was two years agowhen we were in Orlando. Had to extend the trip an extra day before I could drive home. Especially now that I have major neck and back trouble, I feel like I'm dying when that hits me. To me, throwing up is the worst thing ever. I'd rather just die.

Guillain-Barré syndrome, in the ICU for two months, on a ventilator for over a month, paralyzed from head to toes, lost roughly 50lbs, total stay in the hospital 5 months. Had to relearn every activity of daily living. Still in rehab trying to learn how to walk again.

Needless to say, this has been one rough ride.
