That is literally what he did last time. The least at risk people BY FAR are forced to wear masks all day. It is infuriating at this point.

If you read the last mandate, there is fine print in there that churches will not be penalized for non conformance. I pointed that out to my pastor. The signs are no longer on the entry way to the church fwiw.

Infuriating is putting it lightly. There is nothing sadder than seeing a classroom full of 5 year olds socially distanced and masked while the rest of the city is wide open. It is not our children's job to protect a bunch of fat, middle-aged, smoker slobs who refuse to get a vaccine and/or take care of themselves.
I'm not sure I've ever been more pi$$ed off at LA's elected officials. They need to be reminded that they serve at the pleasure of the electorate.

There is a public school by my house and I drive by it a lot. It really does piss me off to drive by and see the teachers and young kids outside during PE and recess wearing mask.

This hasn't been the case for many years.
People don't realize that the people that they elect are bought and paid for by someone else way before they are elected. That's how these people get so much money to run away with local elections. Then once they get to Baton Rouge they don't give a damn about the constituents just the people that funded getting them there.

Just an FYI: LDH as of this past weekend turned off all comments on FB and Twitter. It appears Twitter comments are now on but FB is not. This happened after the Jefferson Parish student was jabbed without parental consent. They intend to silence any dissent to the coming jab mandates etc.

I stopped wearing a mask at Mass weeks ago. Nobody says anything. I was told by a higher up in my parish that the Bishop told them not to get crazy with enforcement.

I don’t think many adults wear them anymore. The majority of the citizens in Louisiana are upset that young children are having to wear these nasty arse masks all day during school. Unfortunately these young kids have no choice.
