I think you have got it mixed up. The SAT is out of 1000. 800/1000 means 80% thus 80th percentile. Please stop crushing my sons Dream.

Nope, your boy is just dumb...chip off the old block I'd say

If this is a joke.. Cool.

If not, I will be 100% honest. The beat on the Stanford Prison Experience is like being in a prison listing to it. Its fricking awful.

If this is serious. I am not going to tell anyone they can't make it. But if I had to bet on it, I would play the odds and bet against him.

He should go to Hollywood and learn what his knees are for and come back a broken shell of a man full of disappointment. Either that or go to tech school for 2 years and have a real chance at a decent life. His choice.

I would take him aside and say something like, "you know, son, the guy who washes the trays at the Stennis cafeteria still gets to tell girls at bars that he works for NASA..."

Ok. He’s now filling out an application to be a janitor for NLE Choppa.

Sounds about right for someone with an 800 SAT score.

Tell him to learn a trade. Not everyone is meant for college. A good plumber will always have work though.

I remember the original post . I don’t recall it being positive reviews.

I was decent at rapping in the early 90’s. I was on stage freestyling on stage with Vanilla ice and also did a freestyle at an MTV sponsored concert. At one point I figured out, I just wasn’t good enough. Listening to these rappers this day and age, I know I could make a hit, because most of it is just repeating and saying yeah.

I have been listening to this “shite” that your son has been doing and I could do better when I was 10. Tell your son he needs to wake up, stay in school and figure out what he is going to do with his life. He needs to just get a fast food job and find out what he’s in for if he doesn’t give up on this shite.

It’s not even rap it’s talking over dumb arse sounds. Maybe he’s on drugs and it sounds good high?

How has someone not been truthful to him. His friends, you, somebody.

Good point, LSU999. About to make my son take a drug test.
About the rest of your post, my son read it and said “he think this a game. This 2020, not the f***ing 90’s. It’s real out here.” (his words)

It’s real out there, but he ain’t “out there” he’s a white kid, from the suburbs, that doesn’t have any kind of flow to ride the beat, nor does he know what that means.

Rapping is an art and he needs to study a shite ton more. If he put together a flow then maybe the stupid noises and all it wouldn't be near as bad to hear.

Needs a flow and actually rap. He’s just talking. There aren’t even words or sentences.
I’m not trying to kill his dream, if he’s really serious. It’s just not good at all.

Tell him to take a instrumental of a rap song that is already out and rap on it. You will see then he doesn’t have talent yet.
