If he really wants to do this crap steer him into producing because his future isn't in rapping but the production is okay.

Hey guys my 15 year old son recently started a “rap career”. He showed me his songs on “SoundCloud” and was wondering if y’all think he’s good. As a 80s R&B enthusiast, I’m not really understanding of new rap.
He’s contemplating dropping out of school to do this full time but I told him that’s dumb. Do you guys think he can make a career of this?
His most popular song is called “NEED” by the way.
Like other talentless rappers he has his "yeahs" down. Tell him he can't get his driver's license until he stops embarrassing the family and himself

Music is good. Flow is decent. Needs to work on his vocals because in that song his voice really conflicts and overrides the music and beats. Needs to be blended in better and work with the beat.

Though ironically enough, there is an I in blind.

The delivery is weak. He needs a lot of work. But who knows.
Yeah but this true for all the 15 year old rappers I know.

What could go wrong with him dropping out of school to pursue this career?

Make sure he learns a trade...

Beats are good if they're his. His rap game not strong tho.

Why would any normal white kid aspire to rap?? Bad terrible parenting is all I can come up with (to share here)

Yea bro, needs to definitely stay in school.

I wasn't gonna listen, but I did.... man, I think he has a good sound.
Just needs to rap with more confidence, more attitude, more passion.
Never know...
He definitely SHOULD NOT quit school.
