Space suits have come a LONG way in 60 years- this guy looks like he's wearing a track suit with a motorcycle helmet. Pretty awesome

Have a fam member that was a huge musk fanboy for years. Loved EV cars, SpaceX, the works.
He recently developed the opinion that musk is "washed up and an erratic alcoholic" and that Teslas are terrible unreliable cars ??

Elon believes in Starship and Mars more than anything in his entire ethos.
If they stall him, my bet is he will start negotiating with other countries to move his base of operations. Hell - at this point he could probably create his own country... ElonWorld. Imagine living there. It would probably be a futurism paradise.

The problem is he can't. Any country with the educated labor force for this kind of work will put the same kind of regulatory restrictions on him.

He also runs into the problem of exporting the technology. SpaceX is a US company, and his rockets theoretically have military applications, so the US government can tie his hands.
