I'm sure my wife threw it away as soon as we got home from our trip.

If you google it you can find where to order one.

I don't throw those items when there are kids around. Some riders do. That's trashy.

If you're telling the truth, maybe you should take a more critical look at your friends watching your kids instead of a parade that has transitioned (no pun intended. Can't think of a better word) into being a family-friendly event for the past 20-25 years or so.

If you're also implying there isn't some significant raunchiness at Spanishtown, you either have not been recently or have not been to the areas where that does go on. It may not be chicks whipping out titties every time you turnaround, but there's most certainly some adult type shenanigans afoot.

FWIW, they do have a "family friendly" zone that's supposed to be alcohol free.

Oh it’s at night now? No way I’m going to it. Higher expectation of bullets flying at night.

It was during the day. Why did they change to night?

NVM. I was looking at the Southdowns one.

Is the parking garage closer to the River good?

Last year, we couldn't get an Uber or Lyft to show up to our home to save our lives. So we had no choice but to drive. Sat in traffic for a solid 45 minutes once off the interstate.

I got out and walked, but my husband had to park like way out at Government St. on the side of the road. If you're trying to get garage, definitely go early.

Skipping this year, sadly. We attend a really nice private block party with open bar/open food, but the rain chances are too much for me to fuss with when you add in parking/Uber situations. Went to the ball. I can say I Spanish Towned regardless.

In fairness, I caught a working mini vibrator just like this like 4 years ago.

Now wait a damn second. I was told posts can't be removed here, and my stock Google image of a cheap parade throw vibrator is removed?

horseshite, admins.

Governor's Mansion and LA DOTD headquarters building are the places to park. Right off the interstate and a short walk by the lakes and through Arsenal Park to the parade. They let people park in the grass everywhere there, so there's no shortage of parking spaces.

Easy to get in and easy to get out after the parade.

Well this was 2024. I can assure you I'm telling the truth. So I'm guessing the parade hadn't fully "transitioned" at that point.

I'm not sure why you think I should revaluate who is watching my kids when they took them to the same parade that you are claiming is family friendly. They have no control over what is thrown off the floats.

I didn't think it was family friendly when they went, and I'm pretty sure it's not family friendly now despite your claims. I honestly didn't care with the "throws" they came home with. Kids have to grow up at some point. Hell I was going to Mardi Gras in the French Quarter when I was there age and saw much worse than anything Spanish town has to offer!

Two points to make:

1) Are you a child? Because there's a huge difference between giving a 30 something year old woman a vibrator and giving a 5-15 year old child a vibrator.

2) How did you get the admins to repost your deleted post?

Damn hard legging overlords on this site. Makes me wish I had tits.

Probably wouldn't have been banned for a year over tv spoilers if I did.
