Or Chinatown. Some really nice stuff in the $350,000 - $450,000 range in Chinatown.

Invest in a Winnebago and park it near Rainey St. Everything will be fine.

That one is so cheap bc it has a kitchen of a one bedroom apartment. Doesn’t even have a hood vent.

Your selection fits the description of the OP, however I want you to consider one thing.

I got this one in my email the other day. Trying to figure out WTF is wrong with it- massive foundation issues maybe?

Redfin

Edit: Looks like it was actually taken off the market. The pictures are gone. Anyway, it WAS listed for $208,000 "as-is with no disclosures."

Not even remotely true for Lexington. Very solid homes in the 450K range here.

Because those probably aren’t “starter” homes. A starter home isn’t a 4br 3 bath 2000 square foot house with a 2 car garage.

In Oklahoma, 450k gets you an upper middle class home in a nice neighborhood.

Gotta love the OT, but I suppose your response is right in line with the OP.

My starter home was a 2 bed one bath 850 sqft cottage. I can tell you what cramped is actually like.

Quick Zillow search provided plenty of options under $450K, some even new construction or in construction.
