Not even remotely true for Lexington. Very solid homes in the 450K range here.

Because those probably aren’t “starter” homes. A starter home isn’t a 4br 3 bath 2000 square foot house with a 2 car garage.

Quick Zillow search provided plenty of options under $450K, some even new construction or in construction.
