I'm convinced most people in this thread are trolling, no way people can be this ignorant about weather.

Which town/city will take the eye? Looks like Tallahassee might be just NW of where the eye comes in.

Drove across the Howard Frankland bridge earlier today. Visibility was about 20 feet. I couldn't see shite.

Am I going to have trouble flying into Miami tomorrow?
Why would you?
I've never flown over a hurricane before. I wasn't sure what the protocol was if anything.

where are you flying from? the storm will be pretty far north tomorrow, should have zero affect on a flight from BR to Miami

It's a lightly populated coast which is why I like it here. The "eye" is looking like Lanark Village/St. Teresa/Alligator Point/Panacea/St. Marks; all small towns.
If there is an eye I'll probably be in it just after midnight so I'm definitely curious to see if the winds calm and pick back up.

I flew over Katrina when we left Nola for Orlando. Not much changes if it doesn't affect take off or landing.

There is already some "surge" (i.e., higher than usual tide) in the PCB/Destin area. Expect some beach erosion from what I am told.
