You forgot paintball.
The Aurora movie theater shooter had a paintball professional team's poster in his room so the media chimed in on that causing violence.

As a parent, how do you have your head that far up your arse?

Meh. I had three firearms in my bedroom as a 15 year old. Shotgun, Deer Rifle, .22 rifle. No biggie on that. But they definitely sound like absentee parents.

If they were good, active parents, he probably wouldn't have wanted to kill them in the first place

CSB. Did you have "three functional bombs"?

Question: how are they charging him with attempted murder?
I mean it seems like you have to actually fire a weapon or plant a bomb, ie actually try to kill someone before they can charge you.
He could have not had the balls to go through with it once it was go time.

I will wait to see what they are qualifying as "functional bombs" before I pass judgement on that. Because we all know that Law Enforcement and the Media never hype a story. Last one of these I read about the kid's "deadly devices" turned out to be BB gun CO2 canisters (about the size of your thumb) filled with black powder and outfitted with a firecracker fuse. Potentially dangerous? Yes. WMD's, no.
Not implying that this kid wasn't a complete psycho with every intent to kill lots of people. Just saying we don't need to all run around with our hands in the air and making a bunch of judgements without the facts. Granted, I realize that everyone on the OT is gifted with the sight of the divine and infallible logic so there is that.
