This feels backwards. TX governor says statewide mask mandate. LA governor said it's up to the city/parish governments.

The fact that masks trigger so many people is one of the more fascinating things in this country. If Trump wore one and suggested others do the same, this board's collective head would explode.

Ditto on other sites if Biden stopped wearing one.

Trump washed his hands of this a while ago. He is an empty suit when it comes to Covid.

Desantis for sure.

Stitt. Although Oklahoma has much less people. The whole point of this is that Abbott started off in the right direction and eventually caved in like a spineless coward.

I live in Florida and I'd love for DeSantis to make the order banning NY, NJ and CT residents permanent.

They're the ones who overwhelmingly ruin the state. I believe the majority of our South Florida cases are probably people from NY/NJ/CT who traveled up to those areas and brought it back with them so in my book we still aren't anywhere close to them, especially NYC.

I can't speak for everybody, but I can speak for myself and a percentage of the population who has already had Covid 19 and recovered from it. It is completely pointless for me to wear a mask, because the chances that I would be infected again are slim to none. And that's the case with everybody else who has had it and recovered from it. By the way, I use the term "recovered" very loosely because there was nothing to really recover from. Other than getting my sense of smell and taste back.

That's my beef with it. I'm not going to be a fricking dope and just wear one just to make others feel comfortable. Now, if I was at risk of catching it because I never had it, then yeah. I'd wear one.

It's the $250 fine per time that will trigger me. Especially after seeing so many allowed to not follow other executive orders or city ordinances on blocking streets including not filing permits like everyone has to do.
