Haha all the randos set up in front of the rentals. Looks like a beach leper colony - but I’ll bet still pretty fun or at least okay.

Gonna be there Friday.
Luckily, we have our own ocean, beach and houses...

I wonder if it just looks worse from that perspective? Still crowded overall but looks like decent room between the setups.

Kind of telling that seeing American flags is associated with one particular side of the political aisle and also it’s a bad thing.

That’s gotta be AI. The beach companies won’t let you set up in front of the rental chairs.

And I’m not even sure that’s Destin looking at the buildings.

That's at Sandestin. Huge resort on both side of Hwy 98 with a relatively small beach access area compared to the amount of people that stay there

They 100% do let people set up in front of the rental chairs there . If you notice almost of the rental chairs are unoccupied

It looks so packed in because that picture was obviously taken at high tide so everyone had to move back and squeeze in.

Do they actually have the right to do so?

I was curious about that myself.

I am not a beach person, so I'm not sure of the rules, generally. I know in St. Lucia they don't have any private beaches (so the really exclusive resorts set up in BFE). I assumed the same was true here, but I was not sure.

It wasn't that bad on the ground.

The main issue was all the assholes playing music.

I know this might sound counterintuitive to some, but I don't understand going to the beach in the middle of the summer. There are way too many people out there. I'd much rather go in April/May or August/September than June/July.

One thing is for sure.... no way in hell I'm hauling one of those flag poles down to the beach. Which goes without saying since I'm never going back to the beach.

Yea frick all that. I have a beach at work I can drive on to where there might be 10 vehicles within a mile. No fatties, no lugging shite, peace and quiet, free air when you leave. That is what I call spectacular.

Has to be a public beach with optional rented chairs

No place I know of lets people set up umbrellas in front of chair service setup

Yeah and it's never the quiet reggae/jimmy buffet music that only people under their umbrella can hear.

It's the necks from Alabama blasting Kenny Chesney on a massive speaker thinking they're really setting the mood for everyone else.

Is the Hawaii flag under the Florida flag just a picture of Fogle’s ID from Superbad?

Hilarious if so.
