Was the Fall of 1997. Opened in time for the Christmas rush. I worked at Sears the first 3 years it was open. An awesome job for college. Almost everyone except for management was an LSU student. Nothing better than working with 20+ friends from school.

I’ve said for awhile that by 2022-2025 that place will be shut down. Way too many people doing online shopping only. Gap, Banana Republic and several others have already closed. Even with the presence of riff raff, they’d still be hopping if online shopping didn’t exist.

Been on Mall of LA strike until they bring Mama Brava, The Merry Go Round, and Spaceport back to the masses. Until then, they can suck it!

I go weekly to eat at the food court. I’ll grab a cup of coffee and sit there for a few hours. I enjoy people watching and surfing TD while I’m there. Makes for a nice afternoon.

The food court is good when I have all day meetings at the hospital across the street. And I always stock up on at the dillards men's sale each june. BUT, I always go middle of the day during the week.

Northpark was amazing when it opened. But now it is just preview of Mall of LA's future. Just like Metrocenter is a vision of Cortana's future. Jackson is about 5-7 years ahead of BR in the decline of malls.

I was in there about a month ago. Was waiting on my IPhone at the Apple Store and walked around. Hadn’t been there in many years. Seemed like there were a lot of shoe and hat stores.
