Lol lighten up Francis.

Out of touch with the hard economic times and they are showcasing a family that has more money than they know what to do with, so they party at expensive and exclusive balls. Newman costs $30k a year on average and TCU is $67k a year. Meanwhile, people can't pay for basic needs. I often don't care much about social class issues, but even to me this article was nauseating to read.

If only there was some form of government where the common folk could take from the rich and redistribute their money, or in the very least dictate how they spend the money. Some social, community based system. 100% positive it would work.

Some guy around two thousand years ago was quoted as saying something to the effect of “We’ll have the poors with us always”.

So far he’s been proven right.

We pay close to $10k a kid in Houma for high school and 5k a kid for elementary. It’s def worth it. Sucks to pay it but when u see how much more advanced the catholic school kids are really makes u realize its worth it.

Is anyone paying for a full ride at Newman? Seems everyone I talk to is on some sort of financial aide. And their parents seen to be able to afford the full ride if they wanted.
