I was more saying that whenever people get into power and have access to a lot of money, a whole hell of a lot of them abuse that and take money meant for a cause and spend it on themselves, regardless of party affiliation. But ok.

I was arguing with someone on Facebook several years ago saying the movement doesn't really care about black people and I really triggered a white leftist that I used to go to school with. So much so that each comment reply I sent she would donate $5 to BLM to "show me". Funny how after 5 comments she capped it off haha.
