And before anyone blames us, just know, there are no millennials in that video. Pussy parents are gen x and the kid is after the millennial generation.

I blame the millennials who think shite like this is real.

This what happens when Society has taken corporal punishment away from raising a kid... Timeouts only works in sports.

Surely you jest. Even if this instance is fake, I’d bet $10mil there are several families like this.
Some parents just fricking suck. My wife watches that teen mom shite and they have several “grown” women who treat their parents just like this. That Farrah skank is one of them. And now she’s in porn.

nope. At least, not 100%
The aunt, the Mother's sister, has five children and common sense. So her parents did something right even if her sister (Rivers' Mother) wasn't listening.

Easy for them to say when it isn’t their kid.

Keep on with not spanking your kids and putting them in their place.

I'd probably still walk with a limp if I'd acted like that to my dad

This got me thinking, as I do not have kids, whats the proper course of action here? Just my thoughts: smash his guitar, and gaming system. smash his phone. Record every hostile interaction. Cut off all money for him. No more clothes, no spending money. you can eat whats in the house. you sleep on the floor until you can act right.
frick all of that. He can go to school or he can gtfo. Or he can catch hands.

I don't have children so this is an honest question - how does a kid get to this point? Too many years of parents letting them do what they want?
At this point...the dad standing up could calm the situation short term...however long term probably not going to effect Rivers too much. Rivers would most likely control his rage until the right moment to get revenge. He needs psychological help in addition to the other.
Rivers needed consistent boundaries from day 1...as do all kids. He would have had a better chance of learning to respect his parents. How many times do we think the elementary school disciplined this kid and parents consoled little Rivers or complained to the school?
My son is much bigger than myself...and stronger now as well. But I can look at him and he will shut up because he learned to respect me from his earliest memories.
None of us enjoy seeing our little ones upset or hurt. However, preventing discomfort in their early lives is not the goal...preventing this type of personality is.
Give your kid everything, feel sorry for them when they suffer consequences, complain when other people and school discipline them early in life, etc. and this is the risk you take.
And dads quote "I will never hit my child"?
That child is a danger to his other family. He deserves it if he threatens another family member.

Yeap, until he goes on a rampage and hurts a younger family member or someone else's child.
A good shot to the temple and you could kill a younger sibling or cousin.

this is the direct result of cant spank your children and time outs and "talks" instead of corporal punishment.
take a belt and whip his arse until he cant sit down for hours and he will very quickly learn to say yes mam and no sir and follow the rules and do as he is told.
when kids learn at 5 yrs old, or even younger in some cases, that they wont pay any "real" consequence at all for not listening or doing as they are told, then this is the result

That’s what happens when you don’t put restrictions on your kids and you don’t teach them consequences when they are young.

Could this vid be fake? Sure.
But I have had kids and parents in my office and it is obvious the parents are afraid of their child...not unreasonable for me to believe this is a real situation.

Had a little punk at my house last weekend. I had my nieces (16,12) staying with us for a week. Anyway my other sister in law shows up with her four kids and her neighbors with their 13 yr old son unexpectedly ( which pissed me off) to swim in our pool I'm sittings at my patio when this little earring wearing teard sits down about that time my niece walks out and he says with a scrunched face ( my nieces are mixed btw) who is that?? I told him that's my niece and then I asked him " Who the frick are you"?? He said I didn't mean to offend you( which was good on his part) .. I told him you never go to someone house and ask questions like that when you are a quest yourself

I'd just invite some Deandres, Marcus, and Kevons over and tell them they can have whatever in the room they want. Free to take. If "Rivers" shows any resistance...well...do what you've got to do.

If that was my kid I'd beat the piss out of him and throw him out the front door. See ya.

1) This is what happens when parents buy into 'physical punishment is abuse' BS
2) This is why the Bible allowed stoning, before there was paid police officers and public prisons in a community

So thankful I consistently and lovingly parented both of my sons. They have turned out to be great young men.
One physical altercation with my wife or one comment like “bitch” and it would be cancel Christmas. He would be unconscious.
Dad is a cuck.
