A double tank to fill up was about $150- 30 years ago. Now it ranges from $350 to I have heard easy $600-depending.

People don’t burn oil any more to heat their homes. It’s all propane or natural gas.

I’ll go there, when I first moved to the mid-west some 25 years ago (long since moved back to LA), was surprised that the strip clubs up there have totally nude dancers on the main stage with alcohol being served.

For those who aren’t aware: “heating oil” is simply dyed diesel oil(dyed to signify no road tax) that is burned in a furnace, which subsequently heats water that circulates around radiant pipes on the floorboards around the home.

In Mass we sure do use oil. Not everyone has natural gas in rural areas, and propane is more expensive, though many use it singularly for their stove/ovens here.

Ice skating/hockey rinks...indoors and outdoors.
Hockey/Lacrosse equipment, even specific stores for it.
Ski resorts and ski shops/stores.

They are certainly in the business of moral superiority and virtue signaling.
