Exactly. Typical backwards BR thinking. You make the city bike friendly and you don't have to drop bikes on street corners.

I'm not sure how else it could possibly end. It will be this, 100 percent.

Seattle couldn't make that shite work, how the hell does BR plan to do it?
Wish they would leave or control it tho, bikes are littered everywhere in crazy places.

It's good in theory but most people have zero respect for property that isn't theirs.
Especially a certain subclass of people.
Look at any section 8 housing and watch how quickly it goes to absolute shite.

I'm all for bike friendly cities
But honestly BR is a logistics nightmare. Plus most people can't realistically bike to work when it's humid af
No way anyone could consider this a good day

Couple of interesting perspectives on the systems rather than the status quo "it'll never work here" mentality. If planned and deployed with careful thought and foresight it could be something positive for BR. It would likely work if it's just Downtown and to LSU and SU to start, focusing on students, downtown and campus visitors.
Open your minds a little bit, errybody.

hey I'd love to believe in BR to complete this and it not be a total cluster frick.....but given our history and current leadership, well if I'm placing a wager, Vegas has made "cluster frick" a heavy favorite

Pretty easy to steal a bike, hipster swipes card rides down just a little and boom held up bike stolen.
Never said you had to steal them straight off the rack

Why
Will the bikes be inspected after each rider? Brakes, chain and tire failures could cause serious personal injury. Any way aren't you a PI Atty? I'm sure you can see some liability issues.

If I'm reading that correctly, she thinks that black people having bikes will lead to property damage and crime. That's about as racist as it gets.
I guess it affords them a faster escape.

So there is a ‘good chance’ if I go ride my bike in Nola this evening someone is gonna take it from me?
