Main Event is building at Mall of Baton Rouge. In the space where HH Greggs was.

I had read that they were moving in. That spot seems small for a Main Event.

Top Golf picked a good site. They won't have a problem attracting customers in Baton Rouge.

Most cities it's located in have very large populations as well as TOURIST/CONVENTION GOERS so to constantly rotate interest. BR people will be excited go and then do like they do with most great things lose it.
This is a valid concern but as far as BR, it is located close to the local population that would appreciate it.

Plus, we don't really have a consistent tourist zone. I will probably go more, once the Baton Rouge "look at me!" flocking dies down.

I don't get the obsession with Buc-ee's. It's just a really nice gas station.

Apparently you do get it.

I think it would do exceptionally well in Baton Rouge.

I also think they could probably make 2 more work in the region: on the Ms Gulf Coast and possibly the north shore.

Yes we all heard that El Paso, the Sacramento suburbs, Oklahoma City, and Germantown were secret hotbeds of tourist activity.

TopGolf would do well in a place like Baton Rouge, and they have chosen a very good location.

There is also a very large parcel of land directly behind that Tinseltown location that is being discussed for more development and it will connect. It you drive there you will see the dead end. Eventually it will have more housings-probably multifamily behind it.

That's an ideal spot for offices, medical facilities, shopping, and something like a Top Golf. IMO they need to eventually connect South Mall Drive to Pecue Lane. Maybe even create a flyover Exchange over to Industrialplex.

That seems really small for a place like that.
