I don't think it's the general fan of either that's trashy, it's the stereotype of the fans out and about. Outside of LSU, I much perfer the NFL game. Better talent, better coaching, and just a cleaner game. However going to a sports bar on a Sat vs Sun is night and day in comparison to the type of clientele present. Sundays are a Mecca of everything ever described as trashy on the OT.

As a rule, NFL, no question.

But you can obviously find extremely trashy college fans as well.

Just because something is trashy doesn't make it a bad thing.

I much rather go to home saints game vs a LSU game. I like tailgating in Baton Rouge but I don't go into the game unless I'm sitting in the stadium club because Lsu fans are unbearable .

For the past 10 years Everyone of of the 8 home Saints games are always a good time for just about the whole game.

LSU has maybe 2 games a year that are actually worth going to and the stadium is still empty by the 4th quarter.

At the end of the day, football fans of both NFL and NCAA are Boh trashy but that doesn't make it a bad thing.

That's an entirely different level

If NFL is a trailer park then UFC is government projects

College has its t-shirt fans, but when I go to a Lions game and they put up a text number on the scoreboard for people to report unruly fans, that is all you need to know. They purposely kept Ford Field at 65K to price out the trash in order to stop the fighting.

The behavior at NFL games is way worse than NCAA. I go a full season without an LSU fan acting an arse in my section. I don't think I've ever been to a Saints game where someone wasn't tossed.

Also, NFL fans are brutal to visiting fans. Went to State this weekend and didn't have a single thing said to me. Not one. This would never happen in and around an NFL stadium.

you went to a Mississippi State game.....I'd like to see if you still feel that way after visiting The Swamp or UGA.
