Oh, in that case, I definitely trust them to wisely invest my money. Is the government making investment decisions, or is it owner controlled? Couldn't they just pass future legislation to borrow from these accounts? If not, how are they different than 529s?

Just in case you're not purposefully being obtuse, I'll respond.

Will be owned by the child and the fund will by S&P 500 or total US Stock Market.

the idea is to give the youth ownership in America.

529s are restricted to education only. Trump accounts are not

Sorry, I don’t trust them not to change the rules.

I took a huge pay hit in 2020 during the COVID shutdowns, with no line of sight at that time when/if things may get back to normal for our household financially. Yet...the COVID "stimulus" checks were based on previous year's tax returns.

Yeah...I got fricked while other people got free money to spend on shite.

Went through a similar situation. Took a financial hit. Meanwhile, me, any of my peers and supervisors had to do a bunch of work via our phones and laptops when offices and office equipment was unavailable for some time.

Seriously, I love Trump.

But what is $2,000 gonna do for anyone with a family.

Let’s steal millions from some people over the course of their lifetimes, send it overseas and half comes back to our pockets, but let’s give that guy we’ve taxed his companies and personally & double taxed on certain things & let’s give him $2,000

I don’t even want it, he can keep that BS!

Abolish the Fed

Cancel everyone’s debt, it’s that simple, reboot the system & tell the Rothschilds to come and get it!

I'm sure everyone that earns less than 100,000, the only who will get this, have excess income and zero debt anyways so they'll totally listen.

Yeah we didn't get any of the covid stipends, reckon we won't get this either.

This needs to go to deficit reduction. Nothing else. Case closed.
