You aren't kidding. I've never read about a tropical event on this website until Cindy.
After this experience I can say the following:
1. Some of you really know what you are saying and I really appreciate your input. Thank you for taking the time to keep us informed.
2. Some of you have good intentions, but you really don't know what you are talking about.
3. Others intentionally have trolled this thread. Sure, it's free speech and you have the right to do it.... But it's a huge waste of time to read your bullshite. I have read some of the post history, and it's really fricking sad that some of you are in the 6 digit range of prior posts. GET A LIFE!! Stop wasting people's time with your nonsense. Go troll Bama fans.
Anyway, these are just my thoughts. Thanks again for those who have offered meaningful input. I hope everyone stays safe and dry during this one and I also hope that this is the only storm we see this year.

OT Hurricane threads are some of my favorites; but this one has devolved into a pissing contest among a handful of posters.
ETA: there is a ton of good stuff here; it's just been tedious to wade through all the insults.
