I've done it before. I accepted one job, and was offered another two days later. I accepted the second job, because it was better, and I called the 1st job back. Explained very politely that I was thankful for the offer, but I got another one that I couldn't turn down.
They were understanding.

Yeah thanks again for that. My start date wouldn't be until mid July so I wouldn't work a day for them either way if the second one comes through

Rainfall predictions on the GFS down for most of LA west of New Orleans. Increasing near the central MS/AL border.

Lines up well with what rds illustrated earlier. Looks like a very reasonable solution and one that doesn't re-flood my house a week before we move back in.
*thinks of the potential flooding to east*
*ignores those feelings*

Idk who psoted that yet, it was shared with me from someone down there.
TBH down here in Houma, nothings really going on. A little rain, a little wind.. we've had afternoon thunderstorms that were worse than this, all the time.

I wish I did understand that
It's a little late for me and my brain is somewhere else. Just hoping for no intensification by the time I wake up. I didn't prepare for this thing to be bad at all

I'm supposed to be flying into MSY Thursday 5pm from ATL. What's it looking like at that time frame.

Yea. Never seen a levee there in my life.

I stayed up late to watch a little drizzle and 5 mph winds?
Cindy has let me down.
