Is there a site that has estimated wind speed as different times? Say 7 AM tomorrow?

I am still saying 4-5 inches tops...
Looks like you were right again PJ.
Dude's our resident weather savant. What would we do without him.

Dry air ate this system up..... and that front coming across the Midwest is gonna grab this thing up and it will be gone pretty quick... the BR area dodged a bullet here....

seriously, stop regurgitating what you hear on The Weather Channel..we can read and hear what the experts are saying just as you can.

This storm will be dying out pretty quickly in the next 24-36 hours. Any wind concerns will be associated with individual thunderstorms most likely.

I never said the rain was over... I have been watching the radar all morning and as stated before there is a big cluster of storms heading toward NO as we speak... I am just glad the storm didn't develop into something more serious than it did.. two days ago it seemed everyone was pretty spoiled by what this system had the potential to do. With good reason... after last August the slightest hint of something like this coming our way gets people real nervous....
you also said the storm was going East of Mobile...dead wrong as usual

Paging someone of knowledge: Isn't there another low pressure system behind Cindy?

Don't get complacent just yet. There's a big ole rain band streaming up out of the Gulf over SELA right now. Depending on where you are, you can still get several more inches out of this.

Which posters earned their TD National Weather Association Certificate from Tropical Storm Cindy?
Luckily, I was able to be accreditated during the Super Regionals by correctly forecasting a delay & start time 10 hours in advance.

The center of storm didn't go where I thought it would but s majority of the damage this storm has cussed is centered around the Mobile area... just go look at the rain totals over there.... so there....

Well Dukke v was spot on about how this storm would affect Baton Rouge.
Tigerbait08 was hoping for a big storm to hit, but that didnt happen.
Tigerbait2008 just posted a lot of laughing emojis.
Thats all I remember.

I am hearing flooding will be bad along a few rivers in Louisiana. I work with idiots so I take what they say with a grain of salt.

wrong...I wasnt "hoping" for anything..all I said was
quote:
I said earlier southeast la is going to end up getting 15-20 inches. Looks like the Mississippi, Alabama and Florida coast are going to get hammered for the next 23-48 hours.
quote:
Rivers, creeks, tributaries, streams, canals and ditches are all mostly already full from all the rain we've had the past few weeks. 10" of rain in some areas, water will rise swiftly.
quote:
.looking like 15"-20" of rain for South East La through Saturday. I see a storm surge that will flood a lot of the lower lying areas.
I was right about the flooding.....we'll see about the rain totals.

Tornado WARNING in New Orleans? Just got a phone alert. Anyone?
Posted on 6/21/17 at 11:36 am to Y.A. Tittle
Got it too on parish line. Not sure where the tornado is.
Posted on 6/21/17 at 11:38 am to tgrbaitn08
From what I have seen the storm will move on quickly and will not become stationary on the Gulf
I would much rather be hit quickly and strong then have it just sit out there
