I hope that truck was bought for work use and is a tax write-off. If that truck was bought not to make money off of, that's a bad financial decision.

When people bitch and moan about not being able to afford a nice house I just laugh now. People do it to themselves. Nothing to do with the interest rates at all.

Only good news is that you only have 76 payments left.

To be fair, you can live in your car, but you can't drive your house.

My little cousin just bought 3 acres and a new 4 bedroom mobile home with a clear Mountain view with a tornado shelter for under $130k. Not a neighbor around. Yeah, not the setup for everyone, but he only financed $50k.

I paid an XL Denali off in 5 years on a new vehicle purcuase way back in 2019. I don't think I could do it now. These last 10 years have been the weirdest century of our lives.

Imagine during "negotiations" the buyer (rapee) uttering the words "I gotta get the payments under $1900. I hope for them the truck was at least making them money, 50/50 the paint on the inside of the receiver hitch is still pristine.

if you smart enough to buy something with a tornado shelter, why are you buying a mobile home?? seems kinda counterintuitive, no?

Well, he is just starting out and has a wife and kid. I’m actually proud of him. The cost per sq/ft is astronomical compared to a stick build. He’s providing for his family and I’m positive he’ll eventually have something different.
