Ironically enough if you close your eyes or open them you see the same color.

was in NYC last month(could have been me ) I rode in the cockpit on the flight with a couple of pilots that lived there, one of the first things they said was to stay off the subway system because it's gotten ooc lately, I heard that from several other people before we ever got to Manhattan, first time in all of the times I've been there that I've heard that

I couldn't imagine some situation where I didn't have a ton of money and had to live and work in New York City. When I was just post-grad, a lot of my adventurous colleagues set out into big cities to carve out their careers but a lot of them went to cities like Houston/Dallas/Seattle/DC, etc - where it's actually somewhat forgiving when it comes to getting started there.

NYC has none of that bullshite. It's like a constant, rip-off-the-bandaid, everything costs brutally more experience. They took the subway because you had to, and they'd end up with these fricked up, 2 hour commutes into town. They seemed to perennially have colds and were broke as frick.

That city is a shithole. Fun place to visit but I could never live there.

yes, because the cash taken from the mugging victim was less than $350

Whether assault is a felony or a misdemeanor depends on how much cash is taken?

Our laws are fricking dumb.

was a double joke, pun on "tree-fiddy," and a joke about the DA's office in Dallas, they say they won't bother prosecuting theft crimes where cash/property value taken is less than $750

I wish they wouldn’t use racially charged words like “teenagers” in these articles

That would be close to $200 in today's dollars.

Hard to believe inflation has destroyed the value of the dollar that much since 1980. Keynesian economics.

Ol baw made the mistake of warning them before intervening. You don't warn a pack of angry dogs. You go in with intent to neutralize, or don't go at all.
