Only if you cook it way past well done and you have to cut it with a skil saw.

If the marinade was salty I'd probably eat eat. I would just cook it past my usual bleu. Probably go all the way up to medium.

170 is enough to kill the bacteria that may have grown. 165 is medium anyway. So you can’t eat it medium/rare. But it’s better than throwing it out.

Some people are more susceptible to food poisoning than others. If you've had really bad experiences with food poisoning in the past you should be more careful. I've never been more than mildly sick personally but I've seen others go through hell. Sometimes from eating the same thing.

You’re right. 145 is medium. 165 is chicken.
