Yea good point. This traffic is definitely a road/infrastructure issue and not the result of a 4 vehicle fatal collision.

well the backups don't happen until you get to Acadian...what is hard to understand about that?
For example I saw this thread and didn't get on 10. I took back roads to get on at the foot of the bridge...i am sure others do the same.

Just drove through baton rouge once coming through and once leaving in a two day span and both times the traffic was shite. That interstate through Baton Rouge is a joke, has always been a joke and will always be a joke. I feel sorry for you poor souls that have to drive that crappy city infrastructure daily. I would say it was just baton rouge but the whole state of louisiana road system is a complete joke.Get back to Jax last night, on a real loop, to 6 lane highways , new overpasses ,night and day traffic crews fixing city bottlenecks. You guys deserve medals for driving that road system daily.
