I had one of those too. Although over the years I ended up losing the back part and ended up with the detachable front piece.

My sister has a Ginny doll from 1958 and a Chatty Baby doll. You had to pull a string to make Chatty Baby talk. Her string broke off but the doll is in mint condition. Her Ginny doll is a walker that has knees that bend. When you make the doll walk her head turns back and forth. The doll also has eyes that close. Both of her dolls will probably be worth something someday. The maker of Chatty Baby is IDEAL and the maker of Ginny is VOGUE.

I used to make Gundam models (Japanese war anime) and still have some sitting around. I put so much time into building them.
