Most of us non skiers are clunking around in those damn boots, we got bigger fish to fry than worrying about a little line breaking.

It's almost always locals.

Yep. Locals that think they own whatever place you're at and hate the "tourists."

At Steamboat now. 45-50% open. Don’t hate it for the lift ticket costs but the bars / restaurants are feeling it for sure…

Was planning a trip there this season but backed out because of snow conditions. Probably going to Jackson Hole instead.

I keep waiting for Colorado to get a decent amount of snow, then I’ll hit Vail and maybe Telluride.

It will come. Just late this year.

Last time snow came late around these parts, there was Snowmaggedon. Almost two feet in January alone.

I really hope so, not for skiing. If it stays this dry the state will burn in the summer.

I was looking at a possible trip to Killington, Sugarloaf, or Jay Peak.

Thanks for implying you rich…you in the right room.

You dont have to be rich to go skiing these days, but you will be poor after going.

Walk up one day loft ticket at Vail is $335 for an adult, even discounted month in advance 3 day tickets are $235. Vail is high end but any decent resort is over $200 a day walkup. Copper used to be a solid deal and is now $175 a day for a 3 day pass.
