Absolutely beautiful dog.
She is just gorgeous.
She was the runt of the litter. Weighed just 6 ounces when born. Was 1 of 18. 2 others were very tiny as well, and like her, had to be hand raised and bottle fed. Never nursed from her mother. I specifically selected her. She's been an incredible companion. Some people just suck. Dogs do not.
Nearly 11 months later, she's just as perfect as can be.

I’m a big GSD, Doberman, Rott fan.
Dogs are amazing. I 100% agree.

I agree. I really like medium to large size breeds. Those are all beautiful breeds.
So many people have a lack of understanding, which means they also have a lack of training when it comes to bully or dominant breeds, and unfortunately incidents occur, because the dog sees itself as the pack leader and doesn't respect its owner.

Why do the ugliest, beta dogs usually win?

A friend of mine used to manage the Monroe Civic Center which hosted an annual dog show. He said that was the most nightmarish weekend of the year. Said the dogs were fine but the owners and handlers were just insufferable.

They don’t. In the past few years, there’s been some really nice dogs win. They’ve finally seemed to recognize the larger breeds more often.

It seems like the shaggy-haired, ribbon-wearing, shitzpoos usually win. However, I remember a few years ago a German Pointer won BIS and that dog was amazing.

Thanks for sharing the list. Yes, a nice mix of breeds. I remember the working line shepherd folks being up in the air over Rumor and what the American lines and AKC has done to confirmation. Still pretty, though. A cool a bloodhound made it.

some of the most despicable human behavior can be found at that show. humans storing dog food in their mouth to feed the dog during the routine. inspecting and touching dogs assholes and privates. just totally despicable.

Stunning! I’m glad he made it.

I’ve always wondered how can somebody judge all the different breeds potentially? Like how do you know the standards for all those different breeds that well.
I suspect they have an entry list prior to the event. Most of those dogs are in show competition constantly.
The judges see the list, know the breed, and can brush up on the standard prior to the event.
The TV announcers seem to have a Resume of the Judges.
I know in field competition, with hounds, the owners go from Trial to Trial.
I live in East TN.
Me and a couple of hunter friends went to Up State New York several years ago, to a Beagle Hare Trial. There was a Small Pack Option Cottontail Trial a few miles away. We decided to drive over and see the competition. Immediately we recognized a couple of Beaglers from Athens, TN. They were trying to earn points to Finish a their future Champion.
Hare Trial Hounds are judged on speed as well as running close to the trail.
SPO Trials are judged on smooth running, accuracy, and quick recovery of a lost trail.
If a peson knows the rules of different type trial. they can judge both/either.

Can’t believe the black dog didn’t win the toy group

I can't find Busy Bee!!!!!!!!!! Did you look in the crate!!!!!!!!!!!

it’s like any other competition…these aren’t the best dogs of the breed they are the best of the dogs entered into the show(s). Just like a beauty pageant…there might be a more beautiful or talented woman out there that didn’t enter the competition you judge the ones that did.
Breed specific judges know the breed standards. Best in show judges are looking more for poise, behavior and the like in addition to breed standards which by that time have already been vetted. They aren’t choosing a best in show dog by breed standards at that point
