did you get points?

This was about '91. It was all set up back then so that the points went to the company that paid for the room.

I got charged $250 for a hotel in Bama for the LSU-Bama game 3 years ago for “smoking” in the room.

No one in the group smoked.

I call when I see the charge because they never let me know they were charging it. Basically the owner told me they had “proof” so when I said I wanted to see it he told me to go frick myself. I challenged it with my credit company and got the money back.

frick that place!

Buddy’s dad won an all inclusive stay in....Branson Missouri. Well he couldn’t go so he offered it to his son (my good buddy) and myself. We thought sweet, we can at least go on a free vacation and do some fishing.

1.) when we first walked in we inspected the house, it was huge but when pulling back one of the sheets it looked like someone literally shaved their bush in there. Full of pubes, FULL. Called housekeeping and they changed the sheets but he slept in a different room anyway (5 bedroom house)

2.) We were pretty young, like 21 or 22 at the time. We thought we were going to be slick and drink all their alcohol and get our most out of the free trip. First night we got beyond shitfaced, puked, went to dinner and couldn’t get ourselves to drink more than like a drink a day the rest of the trip.

boutique hotel in Seattle caught fire at 4am. We evacuated to a coffee shop at 5am. Good brew.

St. Louis Hotel in the French Quarter off Bourbon. Stayed there for the '07 Nat. Championship. Older hotel, but had a balcony and overall not a bad experience.

Few years later, my wife (GF at the time) wants to spend a weekend in NOLA. We are poor college kids and I see a Groupon or something for that hotel. Figure I stayed there before and it wasn't bad. Well, it's an old building converted to a hotel and every room is different. Room we get this time is in a back corner. Bed is so big for the room, you literally can't fully open the door. Floor is off level to the point that a water bottle rolls across the room. No hot water. And the only window is like a 1' sliver of a window. When you look out, you realize you are like a half level off from whatever is outside, which happens to be a janitors closet. We weren't raped or murdered, so we had that going for us. And it didn't ruin the weekend. Just awful in general.

I stayedin a random mitel in Ohio that was maybe five feet from a train. It shook all night.
Water was only cold.
Bed was nasty add the breast morning when I cancelled they wouldn't return my money for next two nights.

In anger I decided to do donuts all over their yard in my rental.

I got some serious Hilton points after this night..No other hotels within 100 miles had rooms, so I stayed through this..Room above had gotten preoccupied while filling their tub..

Trill, by”hotel sex” do you just mean rape?

No, Shawty. If it was rape I wouldn’t have been disappointed that she passed out. You never had hotel sex, bro? You must not be over 18. Wait ‘til after prom and graduation when you get a job and can afford to take chicks on trips and staying in those fancy tall buildings with lots of rooms and vending machines and people up front that bring your bags to your room and park your car. It will be an epic experience for you.

Defuniak springs Florida. Some middle eastern run place. It was during Katrina so I get it everyone was stressed. We couldn’t have been happier to find a room in crest view after a few days.

Stayed at the evergreen plaza on vets one night. Definitely a place to bring hookers back.

This was about 10 years ago. I had to have a friend use a hidden key to get in my house on the north shore and then bring us the spare key to our car. Intercontinental comped the parking charge. That’s it. And this was the day after my 21st birthday. I’ve never been more hungover in my life. Looking back on it, I should have raised more hell but I didn’t have the energy that day.
