What Did I Witness ?

I was sitting in my truck in the Publix parking lot while the Mrs was inside grabbing a few groceries. (Not gonna be any pics). A car pulls up and parks in the aisle across from me so I have a great view of it. 4 door older model car has tinted blacked out windows and upgraded tires and rims but nothing else of interest.
Out steps a young man, probably mid 20's, he does a casual visual check in all directions and tries to chat up a young lady taking her cart to the cart rack. She's on the phone, pretty much ignores him, drops the cart and goes back to her vehicle and leaves. The young man walks over to another vehicle parked next to the cart rack of which I also have a clean view. This vehicle is two spots from his but facing the other direction. He squats down grabs something on the ground in front of the rear passenger side tire and puts it in his pocket. He returns to his car and leaves and gives me the side eye on the way out which made me a little nervous because I wasn't carrying.
Was this possibly some kind of drug transaction in the parking lot?

That was his dignity from getting rejected by the broad at the cart return.
Also, are you and your wife both unemployed?

This was one of them. That's all I have.

Having been involved in many drug transactions, it doesn’t sound like one.

Dasani?
We drink Le Bleu, here.
Y'all get any pub subs? I love them but can't stand how long it takes- line and employees here move slower than molasses.

No, I just moved to near Greenville, South Carolina.

Just my wife. Why does that make a difference?

This reads like one of those irrational woman social media post where next you claim you were nearly a victim of human trafficking.

No he was being a good citizen and making sure that other car had it's tires inflated to the proper psi.

Was your view good enough to tell whether he picking it up from the ground or putting something down? Was it something from in front of the rear tire or could it have been something from the body of the car (ie: a tracker of some sort)?

Yeah, the Mrs likes Dasini.
Haven't had one yet, but I'll try to pick one up on the next visit.

Fix this issue now. I live in peaceful, rural Georgia, about fifty miles west of that hell hole known as Atlanta, but I carry religiously. There are few reasons not to carry, and even fewer good reasons for it.
And yes, you possibly saw a drug deal. Depends on what it was, and what quantity, to determine just how big of a deal it was and what danger might have been present.

He definitely picked up something from in front of the tire and I watched him put it in his pocket when he stood up.

Upstate is nice! We've been looking at Pendleton, beautiful area!

Because Mingo wants to judge you for not being at work in the middle of a weekday. In his mind there is no legitimate reason that one would not be at work in the middle of the weekday and, therefore, you must be unemployed.
