It’s a sunny 75 w30% humidity here in Bozeman. Plenty of views, rivers to fish or float, a smidge of hunting, oh and then there’s all the great winter sports.

It’s not green enough. There’s not really a lot of forest or trees aside from oaks here and there. It’s yellowish brown all over

I like that about it.

Texas hill country is wildly overrated on here

Just about any national park area (and many others) out west blows it out of the water and there are many I would take over it in the south, Midwest, and East Coast too

I like the Hill Country but if I didn't have a connection and get to stay on a ranch outside Fredericksburg, I wouldn't spend much time out there. The northeast, Vermont, Connecticut, New Hampshire, Maine and Upstate NY is awesome. Now its cold as shite in the winter but we are up often there in the summers, have friends we stay with in CT, and its amazing up there.

Definitely not Idaho. This place sucks, we’re all white supremacists, and we’re full.

Depends on what you're into.

The Smokies in east TN and west NC are much prettier. The White Mountains in NH as well.

If beaches, fishing, seafood etc are your thing, then the Gulf Coast is really hard to beat.

With rare exception, people are pretty nice throughout the South.

I hear upper Michigan during the summertime is paradise.

I used to live in the Hill Country and loved it. I still miss it when it crosses my mind.

I think this song kinda fits your lament about it blowing up:

Hill country doesn't even compare to the PNW. Two different ballgames

This is funny. It blows compared to a bunch of areas in the US. Not even close. Hill cointry is the 5 you go home with at 3AM when the better ones have left.

East TN, west NC, Rockies, Florida. Actually plenty. My sibling has lived there since the early 1990s and I've visited plenty. It's nice, but overrated and hot as frick.
