In the Wilsdorf theme, I snuck into the box my wife and I share and pulled out the 41mm OP 124300 to celebrate the day with a celebration dial.

Yeah

SOMETHING growing up had me thinking Breitling was cheap and tacky. I’ve very recently gotten into watches, and just haven’t gravitated towards any of the Breitling content on YouTube.

My buddy just got one. I thought it was very nice.

I nearly pulled the trigger on a Longines Spirit Zulu the other day.

The store didn’t have the leather strap and the sales lady was sketchy so I put it off. Glad I did, as I’ve learned a good bit about buying watches since. I also liked a Tudor GMT better, which I didn’t like It was just so tiny, 39mm I believe.

I’m really liking these right now.

Does anyone use chrono24? Would you trust a seller with thousands of 5 star reviews? And is the $1000+ savings worth not getting the 5 year warranty?

They have great history and had bad blingy chunky designs in the early 2000-2010 years. Breitling has made a complete 180 in the past 10yrs much because new CEO Georges Kern (A. Lange & Söhne, Jaeger-LeCoultre, and (IWC)). Tudor used the Breitling B01 movement in their Black Bay Chrono.

That while dial Navi is superb.

As with any used timepiece, "Buy the seller". I have personally purchased high end pieces from Chrono24 with zero issue. Most issues purchased their come from individual sellers, but dealers with great reviews are typically safe.

Went in to potentially snag a Pelagos FXD, ended up leaving with the Seiko SPB381. First GMT in the collection.

Any idea where I could get rid of a vintage catcher's mask and glove?.

I tried to determine the age of the mask and could not find a similar one.

Thanks for the help.

Apple Watch today. Maybe an el cheapo Walmart watch tomorrow. Once upon a time I sported a $12 watch from there for a year or two and got more compliments than any “nice” watch I ever bothered with.
