Landscaping. Legit Uncle Sam job? Worked at party city. If you want to work in sales retail is a great first step on refining customer service and communication skills. I sell industrial supplies now and love the shite out of it.

Bet-R Grocery was my first.
Tried to get a gig at the hardware store across the street first but they never hired me despite calling everyday for 3 weeks.
Rode my bike to work until my dad passed me in the pouring down rain. Had a truck in the driveway a week later.
Ballin back then making $3.85/hr.

Stock clerk at the local grocery store. Wasn’t a bad gig. Store closed at 7 and managemnt left shortly after I got there. All I had to do was refill the milk cooler, front the canned goods ailse, sweep and lock the doors on my way out. Saved enough to buy a truck.

I worked at a Sears store in the department where people picked up and paid for their catalog orders. This was back in 1982. One thing I learned is that it's a very bad idea to screw up an old lady's underwear order. Very bad.

Luther’s BBQ
Edwin Edwards would come in every Thursday with his entourage to make an appearance, make a walk through the kitchen, and then meet to talk shop with his cronies. If I have to hear Dolly singing Hard Candy Christmas once more my head will explode.
