There is good and bad debt. A $300K mortgage on a nice house that she religiously pays every month is very different than $10K in credit card debt and $100K in student loans that paid for a sociology degree that she's paying on an income-based plan.

14 years later I’m still trying to figure out how she has a headache 27 days a month.
