Yeah the answers can vary widely depending if you are in Hicksville or in a city. Are the schools good or. Ad. Are the houses old short spec houses or not?

Impossible to answer without knowing locale. There is no practical average.

Sorry guys was at a few house shows and then went to the Car Show in Dallas.

We are looking from Argyle across Highland Village to Frisco at the DNT.

So essentially between 35W and the DNT and no further south than 114.

edit: We did find one under 100 sq in North Richland Hills.

Might have to put in a bid fast after we visit.

I am aware this one is south of 114

Average for a nice home in Baton Rouge would be $250-$375. Luxury homes or desirable neighborhoods easily twice that in this area. Just entry level starter homes anywhere from 130-$200 My daughter and husband are in Brooklyn and they paid over $1,000 per sq" ...and it's a very small, very average, home. If you just want an efficiency, budget one bedroom, 800 sq' apartment in Manhattan....they start at over $2,000,000. That's basically just a crash pad with one window, kitchenette, and toilet.

The average cost per sq ft homes in Buckhead, Atlanta are between $350-$400. These are estate homes that are very high end with about 6000-6600 sq ft.. They range from 2.4-3.0 million. Some of the country clubs north of Atlanta like River Club in Suwanee are about the same. Of course, there are some 8,000-12,000 sq ft homes too but their cost per foot is about the same. I don't know why people feel the need to exaggerate but unless you are in Manhattan or a 2000+ sq ft condo in any other major city you would be hard pressed to see cost per sq ft over $500.....anywhere.

Does it have $125.00 builder grade toilets are custom fixtures, Molded plastic interior doors with stamped hardware, or solid wood with cast brass hardware? The variations are infinite.
