Sounds like Mr Boyles might be a pedo. JK
I have a coworker 23 and her mother went to build a bear last week. Just the two of them. I thought it was odd too.

I promised each of my kids a build a bear when they finished kindergarten - last time we went to the one in orange beach bc the one in BR is pretty ghetto
I’ve never gone in there by myself, and I don’t own any of my own … so I’m not sure if this is a legitimate generalization

Build-A-Bear is a right of passage for little girls. I took my girls when they were little girls, and now I'm taking my granddaughters.

Jerseys with some kids name on it, and the worshiping of them is odd, I agree. Why'd you delete that?

OP is just taking advantage of the abundant glory hole opportunities most malls offer

I would assume it’s a nostalgic feeling

Is that you with the camp by the mall entrance?

I went with the wife and kid in Atlanta. Dropped close to$200 in that place because kid made everyone get a bear with accessories. They are probably in a closet somewhere never to be seen again.
I’ve never seen a woman on social media with one and didn’t know it’s a thing, but maybe some just like watching someone stuff a bear and picking it out a outfit.

We too our daughter to BaB when she was two.
I recorded video of her getting the little bunny and doggy. The little sounds of joy she made makes my heart sing.

Close to twenty years ago my Dad saw a build a bear at a mall in texas. He thought it was such a good idea he tried to open one. They wouldn’t let him franchise at the time!

It’s not like an 80s mall.
The mall here had the following:
Sears with a decent tool/hardware section
Suncoast a great place to pay inflated prices for dvds
T
Electronics boutique and Babbage’s
3 record stores.
Ritz camera
Now there’s nothing but clothing stores and cell phone repair kiosks.
Sucks
