if money/housing budget isn't a factor, i think it's hard to argue against austin. i very strongly dislike the "nature" and lack of landscape around houston and dfw though.

San Antonio is the best hands down…actually has a culture & locals are friendly, then prolly Ft. Worth. Dallas, Houston & Austin are just sprawl & non stop traffic & kinda suck now, even though you gave tons of amenities. I always look forward to leaving them.

i have no clue where the best would be to live but austin is pretty hard to beat for a visit.

Austin sucks arse now that it's taken over by liberals. Dallas area but not in town would be my choice of those with the outskirts of San Antonio next.

Have lived in both Dallas and Austin and can say that Austin is definitively >>>>> than Dallas.

Fort Worth is the under rated gem of the larger cities though.
