Having lived in Louisiana and now south Florida for awhile it’s not even comparable. There is more actual, true racism amongst a lot of the older snow birds from Jersey, Connecticut, etc. They spend so much time shite talking their perceived biases of the south they don’t even realize just how biased they are to other folks different than they are. They love to talk about being tolerant but would never entertain the idea of driving through a black or Hispanic neighborhood.
Boomers. Millennials will do the exact same thing.
